Spaghetti sauce
This spaghetti sauce is amazing. Like all sauces, there's tons of flexibility. For instance, the first time I used the bell peppers. But this time I used mushrooms instead. Also, our ground beef is from the butcher, and I can't exactly remember how much is in each package...3 pounds, maybe? I also added some Italian sausage since I had it on hand.
Other tips: 106 oz. of crushed tomatoes are $2.36ish at Costco. Freeze the "leftover" four cups, or add them.
This makes A TON of sauce. Last time I think I divided it into 6 different freezer bags (we're a family with 5 eaters).
