Ghoulash

It's nothing fancy, but one of our go-to meals is my Mom's Ghoulash. Variations of it can be found by searching "American Ghoulash" on your favorite recipe sites. How I make it:
1 lb. of hamburger (best with 7% or less fat)
1 Tbsp or so of garlic (depending on how much you like garlic)
1/2 a small yellow onion, sliced or diced
1 lb of elbows
2 lg cans of petite diced tomatoes
1 can of corn or 1/2 bag of frozen corn
Some Italian seasoning, and some Parmesan or Romano cheese

Brown up the hamburger with garlic and onions. Drain and set aside. Cook up the elbows in a large pot, and drain. Combine the hamburger mixture with the elbows in the large pot. Add tomatoes, corn, and Italian seasoning and heat through. Top it off with the cheese when you serve it. Goes great with a salad and garlic bread.
